A Giclée print is made with pigment-based inks, archival material and a wide format printer. It is also know as “archival print” or “museum-grade printing”
A limited edition means that a fixed number of prints or impressions are produced, thus making the print more scarce, valuable, and collectible. A limited-edition refers to the number of prints that are available for that particular artwork. The number of prints in an edition is determined by the artist.
Montenegro [Crna Gora | Црна Гора] litteraly: Black Mountain, is a country in Southeastern Europe located in the Balkans and bordering Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, Albania and Croatia to the northwest as well as the Adriatic Sea. There is only 621,000 people living in Montenegro.
Fine Art Paper is usually made using 100% cotton rag content, is most often acid-free and is suitable for archival purposes.
Archival inks were developed to ensure that any print made with archival inks will last for as long as possible. It has unique properties to make it resistant to weathering, fading, and wear and tear of the paper.
A map is a symbolic depiction emphasizing relationships between elements: it can represent either regions, objects or themes, and can be static or interactive. Although often depicting geography, maps may represent also real or fictional space, without regard to context or scale.

Alexandra’s maps are beautiful! I purchased one for my house to frame and show all of my guests. The details and sketch’s which depict each region are fantastic. This delightful illustration is printed on high quality paper and I loved this so much, I purchased more to share with my family members. I highly recommend purchasing one to frame for your house or as a gift.

I’m a big fan of Alex’s creations and her map of Montenegro lives up to her usual quality and attention to detail! I love all the small details on the map which only someone who is very familiar with the country would know. I purchased two prints already – one for me and one as a gift!

I’m always looking for a new Montenegro-inspired gift to give family that’s not wine or prosciutto, so when I saw Alex’s amazing Montenegro Map I knew I’d found the perfect thing. My parents were thrilled with this and it’s now hanging on a wall many, many miles away in Ohio. Thanks again, Alex!
