Stay in an ecological tiny house on the edge of a National Park
This unique tiny house runs on source andrain water and is solar powered. It used to be a 150+ old barn build with traditional dry stone techniques, that was renovated in 2020 using local and reuse material. It has one 2-pers bed and two 1-pers beds, all with really comfortable mattresses.
It is surrounded by an incredible biodiversity and wildlife which will help you to relax or meditate: the property has more than 3.5 hectares of land including forest, vineyards and rocky hills, is bordering the National Park on which it has a stunning view. There are multiple activities to do around, from swimming in the lake of Skadar, visiting nearby caves, observing birds on the lake or meeting some of the truly authentic and welcoming local people from the village.
“It’s a little piece of paradise hidden in the Montenegrin mountains. Scott and Alex have managed to turn this place into a little cocoon, very peaceful and relaxing. There is a huge garden, divided into terraces, with various vegetable gardens. Everything is designed to respect biodiversity, the environment and to reflect on our impact on nature, which we highly appreciated!
Scott and Alex are very welcoming and caring hosts and made us feel right at home. We also had the opportunity to taste the delicious local beers, with an incredible view of the valley. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend this place!“
“This campsite is a hidden gem and serves as an excellent starting point for walks and excursions.
In the lovingly tended tent garden area, we quickly found the perfect spot for our tent. The outdoor shower and composting toilet were conveniently nearby. The proprietors were always available for questions and requests, offering helpful and supportive advice for regional excursions.
One of the highlights for us was a refreshing swim in the river, just about 9 kilometers away. It was a stroke of luck to discover this place not far from the heavily touristed coast. It allowed us to enjoy a peaceful escape in nature. In the evening, we strolled through the gardens at sunset, enjoying the constant view of the stunning Montenegrin mountains – an unforgettable and beautiful experience for us!”

The owners, Scott and Alex, showed us the farm showed us the farm, what they have done and what projects they still have there.
